Baby Strollers

Today's Baby Strollers have many different options available to fit your lifestyle.  While most Stroller manufacturer's recommend that you wait until your baby is six to eight weeks old before you start using a stroller, you will be able to use it from the day you bring your baby home from the hospital if you choose one that has a car seat adapter.  However,  it is always a good idea to check with your pediatrician before using any stroller.

Choosing a Baby Stroller can be confusing.  You should first ask yourself how you will be using the stroller most.  Will you be using it while you go for a walk? ...a jog? ...shopping?

A Baby Stroller with swivel wheels will help you to maneuver through crowds, for shopping, or through the turns of a walking track at the park.  However, if you are a serious runner or have alot of hills, a Baby Stroller with fixed wheels will better suit you.

A Baby Stroller that has an adjustable handle will be helpful if both you and your husband plan on pushing and you are different heights.  The adjustable handle will save your back by keeping you from having to push a stroller that is either too tall or too short for your height.

If you plan on having your baby outside, make sure the Baby Stroller comes with a sunshade.  Since your baby can still get a sunburn on a cloudy day, it is a good idea to always use the sunshade when you are outdoors.   If the Baby Stroller you want does not come with a sunshade, you may be able to buy one separately.

To keep your baby from falling out of the Stroller it is important to always use the safety harness.  Buying a Baby Stroller with a five-point harness is best.  However, no harness is safe if it is not used.
